I just finished watching 'The L Word', though the show already aired for almost 7 years now (latecomers, I hate that feeling). This is the second LGBT show I've watched, while the first one was Girl/Girl Scene.
But first, I just love The L Word, really. The character that I love-to-admire is Shane . I learned so much from her, I meant, aside of being a major serial heartbreaker , and her problem on committing in a relationship, she is a compassionate and loyal friend. Respectful and laidback person. Caring and smooth talker. Great listener and peace-lover.
Judging from her looks... damn, she's hot. No doubt about that. Kate Moennig did a job well done, portraying Shane McCutcheon on that show. Everyone wants a piece of her. See how hot she is?

My favourite pairings, gotta be Shenny and Sharmen. I like the other pairings like Tina and Bette (they belong together), Alice and Dana (naughty shawties) but not as much as I love Shane. I know, Jenny is indeed a devilish, manipulative and narsistic bitch , nevertheless we couldn't include those traits as reasons to ruin the chemistry between Shane and Jenny. Sharmen! I really like their chemistry as well. You can sense their differences , between Shane and those two important ladies of her life.
Shane and Jenny.
They were more into sisterhood vibe, where on the last episode of Season 6 , she did mentioned about her unexplainable feelings, which is the need to protect her. You can even watch their actions towards themselves, for example when Jenny falls into a depression time, where she become a cutter. Shane quickly tried to stop the bleeding and calmed her down. I did wanted to see how far their romantic relationship will work, but I changed my mind. They complete each other as companion, not as partner.
Shane and Carmen.
Love is in the air! Carmen shone brightly in Shane's life, more than Sherri Jaffe, Paige or Molly Kroll did. Remember when on the last season of the show, where Shane and Jenny involved in a relationship after making up, Jenny asked her help to throw away 'stuff' that might reminds her of anything bad from the past. Once Jenny showed to Shane a shirt that she wore when Carmen still around, Shane insisted Jenny to keep it, saying that 'I won't throwing her', implying to Carmen's memories that she will cherish it everyday. The one that got away, shall I say that?
They did really outshine any other couples of the season. My favourite scene of them together is when Carmen talked to Shane about wearing a dress. Honestly, I just burst into laughter, because the scene are both funny and sweet, suggesting that Shane did really care for Carmen even if she had to do things that she'd normally 'don't do' .
In addition to that, I still thinks that Carmen will forever be in her warm heart. She 'flee' from the wedding, and after a few days without shower; all getting high and drunk, she finally searched for Carmen. She was pushed hardly by some buff guys in front of her house, stating that Carmen never want to see her again.
Who killed Jenny Schecter?
On the last season as well, the storyline seems to move backwards, 3 months earlier before Jenny died on the pool at Tina and Bette's house. Jenny was like a pain in the ass if you asked me; she destroyed her own movie project, stole Alice's screenplay idea by stating it was purely coincidence, almost ruining the new relationship between Tina and Bette and ruined Helena's new love life with Dylan. Also, she hid Molly's letter therefore also demolishing any chance of Shane and Molly getting back together.
It looked like everyone had motives to kill her, but I just think that she killed herself. Why? I recalled the conversation between her and Shane before Tina and Bette decided to move away from L.A to N.Y due to Tina's job offering . The conversation on whole concluded that Jenny had a surprise before Tina and Bette move away from the neighbourhood, which makes Shane wondered a bit.Since Jenny already recorded farewell speeches made from friends to the mothers, some probably thought that, 'oh, maybe that's the surprise she was talking about'.
I think she killed herself, so that her death become another twisted accident that scarred everyone on the group. For we all know, she had something going out in her head, and her mental instability makes everyone, not only to us, the fans and viewers too but also to the gang, reflecting that she was a bitch. But to be fair and square, there were a few harsh time that folded her bitch page mood into a ‘nice, angelic-styled halo over her big head’ page. Perfect fit for Barney Stinson's graph chart of Hot over Crazy level. Jenny was a very attractive, and highly fashioned chick, no objection to that matter.

The least person that I didn't much enjoyed was Max Sweeney (other than Jenny) . Not that I'm against transgender, but I think his importance to that group weren't highlighted enough. He did fit to the acronyms LGBTQ, yet his character were weakly build.

By far, it was mind-shaking. Great story, supplied with tons of character that no one will hate , and of course, no one will love, packed with handful of laughstock incidents, to dramatic overturn. Kudos to all of the actor and actresses , your acting skills were profoundly amazing.
